Vigil Season 2 : Storyline

The official summary says, “In a brand-new case, DCI Amy Silva or DI Kirsten Longacre go into the world of the drone war to catch a killer.” After several deaths occurring on a Scottish military base that haven’t been explained, Silva or Longacre are asked to find out what happened.

“Entering the hostile along with closed ranks of an airborne force, both men must face the hazardous warfare of tonight as they fight to earn their own future.” Suranne Jones’s Amy Silva spent most of the first season stuck on a submarine. The second season will take Vigil’s cast across the skies and into the shadowy realm of drone warfare.

Amy or Kirsten (Rose Leslie) are sent to Scotland or the Middle East to talk to the airborne force about a failed weapons test. There, they have to catch a killer and think about the future of war. While not much is known about the possible second season of Vigil, writer Tom Edge gives hints that it might not take place in a submarine like the first season did.

He has, however, shown a strong desire to return to some characters in later shows. The actor Lorne MacFadyen, who is known for playing Doward, joked about the thought of a Guard musical as a possible path. To be honest, it looks like there are two key choices being thought about for the second season.

There are two interesting possible tracks to stay in the second season from Vigil. The first choice involves looking into what happened after Vigil’s rough trip and how the Navy along with anti-nuclear activists are still angry with each other.

In the second choice, DCI Silva or DS Longacre start working on a case that has nothing to do with the submarine probes. Since the first season got such good reviews, fans are definitely excited to see how either plot develops. As new information comes in, this website will be quickly changed to show the most up-to-date information.

Amy Silva or Kirsten Longacre are now back for Season 2 with a new task. They lack the ability to find the person who is making trouble. This time, their job is to do something called “drone warfare,” which is like fighting with robots that fly. It’s up to them to apply their police skills to identify this individual in the act.

A test of guns in Scotland ends in death, which is the start of trouble. They were trying very strong weapons in a secret place. The job is to figure out why these people died, given to Silva and Longacre. It’s important to figure out why this classified weapons test is going wrong.
