On June 5, 2022, Atlanta rapper Trouble was shot dead inside his car. Now, it is coming forward that a suspect has been taken into custody by the authorities. The suspect is identified as 33-year-old Jamichael Jones. According to reports, Jones’ mother convinced him to talk on the phone to the officials as he happened to be at his mother’s place only. On June 7, at around 1 AM, the suspect agreed to turn himself in. Now, an arrest warrant is issued for the killing of the rapper which states that Jones shot Trouble.
As per reports, Jamichael Jones killed Trouble after finding him with his ex-girlfriend. For those unversed, the rapper was shot to death in the early hours of Sunday, at the Lake St. James Apartments in Conyers. Even though trouble was hastened to hospital, he died from his injuries. On Tuesday, at 1 AM, Jones turned himself in on home invasion, felony murder, and aggravated assault charges. The arrest warrant states that the Rockdale Sheriff’s Office arrived at the 911 call to find the ex-girlfriend with “visible injuries on her face consistent with being struck”.

Trouble’s girlfriend stated that she was asleep with Trouble and woke up to her ex-boyfriend, punching her in the face. According to the warrant, Trouble and Jones get into a fight while the girl tried to sort things up. Before anyone could process it, the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot the rapper, and left the scene. The warrant also reads that the rapper was shot in the chest. Jones’ former girlfriend told the authorities that she had been in a relationship with the man for three years. She added that they broke up a week ago when Jones hit her during an argument.
Deputies also noted in the warrant that the front door of the apartment was forcefully opened. They even obtained the surveillance footage of Jones arriving and leaving the apartment in his car. Reports state that Jones came and went in just seven minutes. Let us tell you that Trouble’s ex-girlfriend, Alexis Skyy, had shared the saddening piece of news on Twitter.
