Wildfires close stretch of Interstate 75 in southwest Florida

4 brush fires burning a complete of about 400 acres shut down a bit of Interstate 75 in southwest Florida on Wednesday, officers mentioned.

One of the fires threatened about 30 houses in the Collier County space of Golden Gate Estates, in accordance with the Florida Forestry Service. A toll part of I-75 referred to as Alligator Alley was shut down for about 20 miles, the Florida Freeway Patrol mentioned.
